Melanie Randall
Performer, teacher, church organist
Melanie Randall is a performer, teacher, and church organist based in San Antonio, TX. She studied at the University of Utah (BM), Brigham Young University (MM), and the University of Texas (DMA). Andrew Unsworth and Linda Margetts, two Tabernacle Organists on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, were Melanie’s primary teachers. Under their guidance, Melanie passed an extensive audition to become one of a handful of recitalists for the daily Salt Lake Tabernacle Noon Recitals. Melanie’s passion for learning led her to doggedly work toward and pass the American Guild of Organist’s highest certification exam. She is now a Fellow of the American Guild of Organists, and after this achievement, was invited to serve on the national Board of Examiners. Melanie is active in the American Guild of Organists, having served as the Dean of the Austin Chapter for 3 years, and currently serving as the Programming Committee Chair of the Alamo Chapter in San Antonio.
